Get rid of that ulcer with these tips

Gastric ulcers are as results of the injuries on the internal linings of our stomachs as results of some factors; lifestyles, foods, diseases but mostly dietary patterns. Now when one has ulcers, he would have to avoid some foods that aggreviate the effects caused to his body, these foods include:
• Very spicy foods
• Beans in any form especially when not dehauled
• Garden eggs
• Peppered groundnut paste.
• Citric acids which are present in all forms of citrus (Oranges, lime, grapes, lemon).
• Ascorbic acids (Vitamin C) supplements especially the white ones.
• Insoluble fibres, they are difficult to digest. Example is fibres found in cassava flakes
• Pineapples
• Carbonated drinks
Avoiding those is a good start for getting better but how long is one going to continue avoiding his favourite meals because of ulcer?
Now what are the things we should do to get rid of these ulcers. Here are some useful tips.
√ Chew up to 5 leaves of lettuce in the morning after you wake up and in the night before going to bed.
√ Substitute honey for sugar, take a spoonful of honey at least once in a day, it helps to heal the wounds in the stomach.
√ Fruits are good too but the problem with most of them in relative to ulcer is their high ascorbic acid content, while choosing the fruits to eat, you'll have to go for the ones with lower ascorbic acid content examples are apple without skin, green or red grape, dates.
√ Increase your consumptions of soluble fibres, they are mostly found in green leafy vegetables, they are found in okro too, these fibres digests easily.
√ Sweet dried almond helps a great deal in ulcer management. Try and increase their consumptions.
