Get your ideal figures while still eating your favourite meals!



Have you ever been told to let go of your favourite food, snacks or drink because they were going to make you look fat and ridiculous? How did you feel hearing that, I bet it didn't sit pretty well in your pretty memories. Favourite foods can be be very difficult to forgo, I understand your situation but you see Darling, we're going to talk about that and know how you could still maintain your desirable body sizes and shapes without totally forgoing your favourite foods, and off course with just little sacrifices. How did that sound? Do something for me please, sit down, relax and learn, it's going to be worth it.

Maintaining a desirable body shape and size could be a tedious thing to do but getting the desirable results would make you forget the stress. Foods are anything edible that when eaten satisfies and quenches our hunger, it could be fruits,  vegetables, minimal processed, ultra processed, packaged and so on. Every food was made from a raw product, there's no single food that doesn't contain nutrients in it's natural state, some of these nutrients are lost during the preparations or processing of these raw products.

Food processing could reduce the nutrients found in raw food products and in other to make up for it, some food additives and supplements are introduced, most of these additives and supplements are made in the laboratory by food scientists. 

If your favourite food happens to be one of these ultra processed foods which has a high rate of increasing the body weight and size due to some food additives and supplements contained in them then listen attentively Darling! I am not saying you should totally forgo your favourite, No! I will start by listing what I mean by ultra processed foods, you can identify them using these hints:

• They are mostly packaged in  colorful plastic containers or nylon.

• They are mostly ready-to-eat foods, you open them this minute and they are already in your mouth the next minute, they don't require any other preparation (s) once they are out of their containers.

• Most of them serve more as snacks than as foods 

With the hints above, you should be able to know what I meant when I said ultra-processed foods, now let's continue.

How many times do you have your favourite foods, snacks or drinks in a day, some could have their favourite snacks up to three to four times in a day, some could even have higher or lesser than that, it depends on the level of their addictions to them. Reduction in the number of times one have these snacks per day is surely a good way to start this journey of achieving minimum and adequate body sizes and shapes, yes! I didn't say you shouldn't have it at all, but could you help me reduce the number of times you have them in a day or probably in weeks, could you do that dear? If you're used to having them let's say Five times in every 3 days, could you reduce it to three times? Good! Now let's continue!

Achieving every good thing requires sacrifices you know and having that desirable body shapes and sizes you all are craving for isn't an exception. You'll need to put in efforts to get to your desirable results.

Having talked about the consistencies of having these foods, we would talk about the ways we eat them. How do you usually eat your favourite snacks, what do you like doing while eating them? Do you have a special habit you formed while having not just your favourite meals but every meal in general? I would always want to have my snacks while I watch the television, what about you? Do you enjoy doing that too, if yes then you'll need to slow down Darling! Eating or snacking while watching a television could be very deceitful, you might eat a bowl of popcorn within 7 minutes without even realising it. You could be enjoying your favourite TV shows while eating your meal so all your attention would be on that screen, you wouldn't be able to know the amount of food you might had taken, you could even go for more, it makes you eat more and that is not good for you, you need to achieve that your desirable body shape so please whenever you want to eat, do not go near that TV!! Stay away from it, enjoy your meal first, the TV could come later. 

Another way of moderating the consumption of those foods and snacks that would prevent you from achieving your desirable body shapes and sizes is by making fruits and vegetables your side meals while eating them, fruits and vegetables are very helpful in weight reduction therapies because they contain zero calories. Get used to eating your fruits and vegetables, buy them when they are in seasons, they are always cheaper then. 

Exercise could be very stressful for some people, if you are that type then pay attention to these few tips

• Always try and walk some few kilometers every day even when you don't have a reason to do.

• Strolling helps to expel energy, try and stroll with someone who could keep you company, it would make you stroll for a long time even without knowing, you too could talk about interesting topics.

• If you enter a public transport (buses) always try and stop some kilometers ahead of your bus stops, you could always walk home from there, this would help you walk some distances every day.

If your favourite meal is an energy densed meal or even fatty meals, try not to have them as dinner, do you know why? Don't worry I'll tell you Darling; night meals should be light in other not to overwork our livers, you have your dinner few hours before going to bed, because of this, you won't be able to expel the energy contained in them, in other to save your livers the stress of breaking the nutrients absorbed from the small intestine. Energy and fatty meals are best had as breakfast or lunch when you could still expel the energy before nightfall.

In conclusion, try and see a way to reduce those fatty meals with vegetables and fruits as side dishes, substitute their preparation techniques sometimes, it helps; if you like fried chicken, try roasting it another time, you could even enjoy it more, who knows?
